Our story

Nedu Apparel was founded by well-known Lithuanian rhythmic gymnast Neringa Matuliauskaite. From early childhood, she spent countless hours on the soft, warm gymnastics carpet - a place where discipline met beauty, and where movement became a language of elegance, strength, and self‑expression. Through years of dedicated training, she developed not only a deep love for flexibility and graceful motion, but also resilience, mental clarity, and a quiet confidence that shaped her identity.

But movement was only one side of her creative world.

From the age of seven, Neringa began designing and sewing her own rhythmic gymnastics leotards - intricate, expressive pieces that had to move with the body like a second skin. What started as a childhood curiosity quickly became a lifelong craft. She created dresses, performance costumes, and bespoke garments, discovering an intuitive understanding of how fabric, form, and motion interact.

This early passion evolved into a decade ‑ long professional journey in the global fashion industry. Neringa worked with some of the world’s most recognized fashion brands, gaining hands‑on experience in design development, product creation, and the aesthetics of modern minimalism. She studied various design disciplines, refining her eye for proportion, silhouette, and the emotional language of clothing.
